Emulsions provide a manageable way to control the amount of silicone being used in a formulation or process and allow easier formulation with silicone. Silchem’s water-based emulsions are engineered for use in both specific industries and across every industry, offering FDA & Kosher, octylphenol ethoxylate free and alkyl phenol free. Commonly used in person care, car care and mold release industries, our emulsions are easily dispersible in water, and when sprayed, wet out, providing a clean, thorough coating and can yield similar end results when used in your formulations.

SEM108 is an organo functional silicone polymer emulsion which offers enhanced lubrication and release properties. In most applications it outperforms standard silicone fluids. SEM108 enhanced properties may decrease the number of rejected parts and may offer cost savings to the user because of higher performance at lower usage levels.

SEM1401 is a 35% silicone emulsion formulated with phenyl modified polysiloxane fluid. This emulsion is recommended for the lubricating of glass fabrics in textiles finishes where drying temperatures are above 400°F (204°C). SEM1401 is formulated for many environmentally sensitive industrial applications where volatile organic chemical (VOC's) emissions are of concern. SEM1401 contains no VOC's.

SEM169 is a 50% silicone emulsion formulated with a silicone MQ resin. This degree of resin modification is low suggesting use in mold release applications and in polish formulations. MQ resin increases release characteristics of silicone fluids and enhances luster and shine properties.

SEM179 is a silicone emulsion formulated with a 5,000 centistoke dimethyl fluid. SEM179 is formulated with emulsifiers that deactivate upon drying of the water component. Suggested use is in textile water proofing applications and in specialty polish formulations.

SEM311 Antistat Emulsion is a water dilutable silicone lubricant and antistatic emulsion designed for use in heat set web offset printing machines. SEM311 is a milky white fluid and may be diluted with water to obtain the desired blend of antistatic properties and lubricity.
